The Parlour No. 4 story

Parlour No. 4 exists because lighting a candle with a kitchen match smells like a kitchen. The heads carry no scent before striking and a faint, brief woodsmoke after - the dye is in the splint, not the head. The seasonal dyes follow the town calendar: ivy green in Advent, lamplit rose in February, Falkenmoor blue in regatta week.
